Between dashing and dancing I've eeeked out family stockings.  Oh has this been a long time coming! And settling on machine embroidery meant that they all happened pretty snappy like!

From one breeder to another, it looks like there is still room for a purple one at the end (or a lavender AND a violet...) lol! ;) Happy Advent!

  7. It looks like you have a full house! A house full of love and fabrics, of course! Lovely project! My mother made us stockings in the 1980's and they are still treasured. My Jewish husband even got one when he joined the family- so did the cat!

  18. When I look at this photo I want to run out and have 4 more babies. Then I remembered I don't have an embroidery machine. Thank goodness because 4 more kids would push me right over the edge!
I have an embroidery machine on my wish list, but by the time I get one I can make these for the grandkids ;)

    Beautiful pattern!!

  19. Anna-Maria, your pattern reminds me of old fashioned Greek coverlets, spelled in a modern way. Your little guy is so cute! Merry Christmas to your family and yourself.

  20. These are so pretty. Did you use linen for the stocking fabric? It looks so cushy that I was wondering if flannel could work too?
