Springing

two.amigos

Whether or not I had the time to make these bags myself, I knew they needed to be made. I love having pals that will take on some sewing for me when I am struck by such a bug. I did take the great personal pleasure however in picking out the materials for her. Then poof. Done. They are a ribbon-y version of the Art Student Tote, and I daresay lurvely.

Here's another had-to-happen-happiness in spite of my current workload.
Thank you to Pierrette, my little gif fairy for that one.

Happy Spring friends, xo, Anna

  1. They are so cute!! You're lucky to have friends who know how to sew, it seems, at the moment, that none of mine know how to!

  2. "live.create.love"-- I love it! And once again-- that ribbon is breathtaking... love the pairing of the blues with the brown velveteen. My son is really hoping that I will make his ring bearer pillow (for my sister's all white wedding) out of your beautiful velveteens ;-) you have a loyal 4 year old fan!

Pierrette is so creative!!! I just had to sit and watch that little production a few times for admiration sake. How can you not want to create with all those beautiful materials? Love, love the totes, too!

No, that doesn't have the same poetic tone, but honestly! Such loveliness does make a fabric stasher, like me, get cravings!

  13. Seeing your perle cottons reminds me of how much I love them and all their colorful glory. I first discoverd perle cotton in the 70's as a new member of a stitchery guild. I bought every color I could find and afford. Still love them. Your new stitchy direction is lovely along with your wonderful lines of fabric designs.
You are a very talented lady indeed.

  16. I love these so much! My mom bought me the multi-tasker pattern and some material for my birthday! I'm thrilled to get started on it tomorrow. I bought your AST pattern like the day it came out in hopes of using it for a really hip diaper bag. But after our loss I've been waiting to make it for the next time we are blessed with a child. I do believe I will be adding ribbon when the time comes! These are just beautiful.

  18. So lovely, too lovely for words. The Student Tote is high on my list, once I get myself a pattern. I have planned a serious version. Now I see a bohemian version too. Mm...

I've got a hyperactive mind but not a hyperactive body to go with it. It's good to have fairies about!
