I didn't remember until I was uploading these pictures of Eleni and Leo, that my sister (Eleni) and I used to do the same thing when we were waiting for a rainstorm. We would pile all of our stuffed animals and blankets in front of the sliding glass door in the dining room and watch and listen.
We enjoyed rain, thunder, lightening, and a sunny outdoor meal this weekend.

It sure is! Spring is the season when I never seem to be dressed appropriately, no matter what the weather :)

ReplyDeleteIt is here in Pa, too! Yesterday was the "Polar Bear" half marathon and it was almost 80 degrees! Crazytown is right!!

Aw, I remember doing something similar. It's also good kind of weather for building a tent of pillows and sheets and chairs.
ReplyDeleteThe craziest weather just left town, here, and may be headed your way. While we definitely welcomed the wild stuff, I can see I need to improve my weather waiting style! Eleni has it down to a science and art ~ I love it!
