For me these will only ever exist on my blog. I will pay any takers $20 bucks if they wear these for a full day of Quilt Market. Of course you would have to spring for the 795$ shoes first. And the 4-hour foot massage after. So $20 really won't cover you. But still.
have a good Monday, more daydreams here.
xo,AM
LOL, at my daughters baby shower on Saturday one of her friends flew in from NY where she works as a trader for a big name brokerage. I think most of the young women envied the shoes she was wearing, classic Louboutin pumps more than anything else!
ReplyDeletehmmmm, I'm pretty sure you could make a more comfy version for Quilt Market for yourself. (You know, in all your spare time!!)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous.
oh. my. wow.
ReplyDeleteWOW, those are kind of amazing! Yeah, I think they are a D.I.Y. waiting to happen, I'm with Karen I think you should design your own comfortable version ;)
ReplyDeleteWowuch!
ReplyDeleteThey say *beauty hurts,* but this might take it too far. Shoot... am I just getting old?!
What FUN shoes. Do I have to stand at Quilt Market--LOL!!!! But really-$795--outrageous--I'm thinking I could upcycle a pair of heels I already have--
ReplyDeleteAwesomeness in a shoe!
ReplyDeleteWow those are very cool, but I am with ya'll on the comfort factor!
ReplyDeleteCome on Anna - you can do better than that! Revamp your old Birkenstocks (and spray paint the soles red of course - just so that people know how exclusive your shoes are!) They'd be fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteI smell a DIY project haha... I'd start with something a little comfier as the base though :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THESE.. Think they have them in sneakers?
ReplyDeleteYeah, sneakers, sure, heels like that, not for me. I'd tip over for sure... I have enjoyed reading your blog for a while now, lots of nice things. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHa! Great shoes but - ouch! I learned my shoe lesson last spring :p !
ReplyDeleteI think a flip flop version would be much more practical (for your feet and your wallet). :)
ReplyDeleteGood monday!
Those are a great find. Window shopping only for me, though. :)
ReplyDeletevery cute, but ... ouch! I found these recently and they look a little more comfortable http://www.irregularchoice.com/shop/womens/product/3721/tapetastic.html?offset=227
ReplyDeleteE x
Ouch is definitely the word! I can just imagine those pressing down on my sewing machine pedal all day.....not! Fun though!
ReplyDeleteoh anna you make me chuckle. i think you should wear them and show us how it's done!! haha!
ReplyDeleteIf you were willing to pay my air fare from Australia plus wheelchair rental for afters, you're on!
ReplyDeleteOUCH!
ReplyDelete$795, I think I need to learn to make shoes!
ReplyDeleteLOl, Will they take measurments before and after the swelling?
ReplyDeleteI AM afraid they don't measure up to my standards of a safe or nice looking shoe LOL
ReplyDeleteFabulousness
ReplyDeleteMaybe Heidi Klum would wear them . . . . .
ReplyDeleteOMG but aren't they fabulous? Only with age do you become wise enough to figure out the price to pay (figuratively and literally) is far too high!
ReplyDeleteDIY - think of all the money you'll save (and foot-ache!) $12 flats at target, $5 worth of measuring tape, and a bottle of gorilla glue. You can do it! :)
ReplyDeleteAw. Cmmon now. You know the more expensive, the more comfortable...the better for your feet.
ReplyDeleteSee you at Market - - in heels!!
Nice article, thanks for the information.
ReplyDeleteFYI, a bunch of your old posts (60-plus) are coming up as new in my RSS reader. Just thought I'd let you know in case you've changed some settings and it's gone wrong.
ReplyDeleteThese would be the perfect shoes for quilt market!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! Love the idea, but definitely not the height of the heel. I do see a lot of DIY shoes coming out of this photo though. Can't even think about $795 for a pair of shoes!
ReplyDeleteI want these...but don't have $795 in my shoe budget, LOL!
ReplyDeleteThose fabrics and ribbons together is perfection! I can already tell this is going to be my newest favorite fabric line - I can hardly wait! 2945abc45 0423
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
cute...wish I could go to quilt market.
ReplyDeleteOh those are FAB. What a great idea!
