Love Letters

love.letters.quilt

An early Christmas gift to you. The "Love Letters" quilt free downloadable pattern. Alexia designed this ever so lovely quilt to feature my Innocent Crush quilting cottons. This patchwork shows mostly the "swept away" palette with a stamp (get it, on a letter?) of tourquoise from the "charmed" palette. Pretty. We've listed some kits for both palettes over here.

You can download the free "Love Letters" quilt pattern here.

Other thingermajiggins:

* If you'd love to know where the he** your scarf kit is, its coming, we've been waiting (very impatiently) on more yardage
* People like scarf kits
* Particularly if they are made of velveteen, because they are warm
* It must be cold out there
* I wouldn't know, I haven't been outside in a few days because
* I'm working to finish two more free patterns for you
* I should have the "Love Emblem" one ready for you by Friday which will enable you to make these pillows or this quilt
* Yay
* Then a lovely "Flirting the Issue Skirt" free pattern
* Double yay
* This week I was able to reduce the number of emails in my inbox from 513 to 147
* I feel good about this
* Getting hit in the head by forcefully swung pantry door by your toddler does not feel good
* Neither does getting hit on the other side of the head by a (full) sippy cup when you are laying on the couch because you have a migraine
* Getting pinched and scratched on the cheekbone doesn't feel good either
* All of these afflictions happening within 5 days of each other is something I'm not sure has ever happened
* Being Roman's mommy isn't for sissies
*This post is entitled "Love Letters"

Love Always,
Anna

  3. Lovely! :) I love all the love being thrown around here with your new line of fabric! I'm currently in the middle of a quilt titled "So this is love" for my husband using the fabrics! Can't wait to see the pattern for the Love Emblem I've been swooning over it. :) Hope the toddler gets a little less rough on mommy!

  5. How did you know I was looking for a quilt pattern for my stepdaughter? Innocent Crush has been sitting here waiting for the right pattern, and here it is. I specifically wanted something with big and small squares. Perfect!

  6. Perfect timing! The package with my Innocent Crush in it just came today (it also had some Parisville & Soul Blossoms if we are allowed to mention other favs on here!). This pattern will work perfectly with what I ordered.

    It IS cold out here, snowing again. Maybe your husband or one of the older kids can take Roman out for a long hike and wear him down a little so he won't be so hard on his mom! You'd think by now you would have seen/done it all, but it's true what they say, every kid is different!

    Blessings to you, Anna Maria, you are such a blessing to us!

  8. Being the mother of 6 myself with 11 mos old twins....I feel your pain. I've been poked, pinched, pulled, yanked, smacked, and then an occasional wet sloppy warm sweet big kiss on the lips, (or around there.) I thought you were already tough just by all that you accomplish in a single day!! Your amazing....and I love what you add to my day, your fabric, and your love for it is inspiring!!! Thank you!!!

  17. I am LOL about Roman's *love taps*. My 15 month old Sophia is quite the rough child. She likes to dig her little fingers into my gums or try to pull my eyelashes off while she nurses LOL I try to show her how to be gentle, but so far she prefers to be rough. She is the youngest of 8, I think she may be spoiled, none of my others were this bullish LOL

    Beautiful quilt, love the turquoise *stamp* : D

  19. I laughed so hard at your list. I keep wondering how many people are tempted to call police at my scratches and occasional bruises. For some reason my toddlers think that if I sit down it means it is gym time!

  23. I have memories of my three sons and days/weeks like yours. (I had a broken toe once when my son, then three, dropped a huge can of peaches on my toe from the grocery cart!)(did I mention I was 8 months pregnant and had just fainted in the grocery store a few minutes before because I stood too long in one spot listening as an elderly man told me about his day). Then I was extremely embarrassed because the grocery clerk, who happened to be the preacher's wife, insisted on driving me home and sending out an all points bulletin that I needed dinner brought to my house. (appreciated, but still embarrassing). Hang in there. You'll laugh about these memories some day!

  31. I think quilts made without any insulation or batting were referred to as summer quilts. They were not made for warmth, only to keep the chill off during cooler summer evenings.
