As much fun as it was arranging these (few of many) pillows into my Quilt Market booth, the idea of settling in enough back at home to decide where they really belong in my real house is just plain luscious. I'll be doing some of that along with cleaning, organizing, cuddling and hopefully some nothing too.
Missed you! back here next week~ xoxox, Anna
(speaking of home, the new decor cottons are in! hooray!)
Welcome back! Those star pillows are too cool. Tutorial? I also have to say I love the yellow skirt you made for your booth in the woodcut home decor. Hope you're wearing it! I've been wearing my Skirting Couture skirt btw =)
ReplyDeleteLuscious is right! Those pillows are awesome and I am in so much trouble with the home decor cottons! Must think of new project now!
ReplyDeleteAll over the blogosphere I've read lovely accounts of Market... and they almost always include Lovely You. Welcome back to your beautiful home, and many thanks from me and everyone else you inspire.
ReplyDeleteYes, please a walk-through of how you did those, or a closer look? I can't quite wrap my head around the order in which the points are pieced together, but the end result is lovely!
ReplyDeleteLOVE those star pillows and can't figure out how you did them. Help!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful.
Welcome home! Your pillows are scrumptious. Love the design and your fabric.
ReplyDeleteYou would think by now I would be prepared for the rush of joy at seeing a new creation, the happy ping that happens in my brain, but wham, it happened again. It's like I lived with the shades rolled down before I saw your fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these pillows. The prints are so amazing.

ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful pillows! I adore that cool star pattern, which makes me think of a kaleidoscope. I have seen some beautiful photos of your booth from Quilt Market - loved the Love Emblem quilts too. Can't wait to try the new home decor fabrics too!
ReplyDeleteYour booth was beautiful, and Innocent Crush might be an all-time fave (but you continue to outdo yourself..so that could change!). I exhibited at QM for the first time last week, and when I had found the courage to come over to say hello and thank you for your passion and pioneering ways, Ty P. was there clogging up the walkway!! I never made it back over but just wanted you to know that I think the world of your work! All the best!
ReplyDeleteI've been ogling over posts of your booth at Quilt Market - you did an amazing job!

Anna, is there any chance you could draft a pattern for those pillows and offer it for sale in your shop, or a tutorial? I love the pattern and feel it must be paper pieced and I'd love to use it in a quilt.
ReplyDeleteHi there- this is a smaller version of one of the free patterns I will be offering for Innocent Crush in just another week or two :)
ReplyDeleteMore soon, xo, Anna
Hi Anna Maria! I loved your booth! I wanted to tell you I loved your blues and reds and the off-white. That is a favorite combination of mine. It was a bit mobbed with you and TP not too far away! Nice for a quick chat with you and I'm so happy you remembered me (we met in '08 and you remembered that you gave me advice on my designs :) )! Looking forward to making something with those fabrics!
