If I could bend over......

spring.show.1

I would take the day off and work in the breezy, sunny garden all day long.

that.weed.way down.there

Like that weed down there. I would pull that weed. Pull it with joy and thankfulness.

spring.show.2

Yes I would. If I only could.

3&3

(thanks for all the boy congrats~ we are so excited to even the score around here~ 3 & 3 )

good weekend, xoAM

  1. I can't believe how beautiful your flowers are already! Ours are quite a bit slow due to the cool wet spring.

  10. I am so there with you on the bending over thing. Except I still have about 3 months to go. I am also having a boy, my 3rd. They are so fun.

  11. Hey I hear ya. At least YOUR toes are painted! (:

  12. If I could walk without pain, I'd stroll around my yard in anticipation of all the flowers yet to bloom. Alas, my sixth pregnancy has brought thrombophlebitis to my right thigh. I hope you're feeling good. Congratulations on the boy. We don't know who to expect in early July, but with four boys and one girl thus far, he or she would not even the score.

  13. At least you have a belly to blame the weed on.....I have no good excuse! :)

  14. Congratulations on a third boy! Ours was born in September, and now it seems we must get started making some girls around here... although being the queen is rather fun:-)

  16. That weed looks like a scented geranium to me! Maybe not being able to pull it is a blessing - see what blooms :) !

  17. Most people would consider more than 2 an uneven score! You are brave folks.

  18. great post! and congrats!!!

  19. Everything is as it should be. The weed is still a pretty little thing, don't give it a second thought.
Congratulations on even-ing out the family...I doubt that it would matter much either way...there is so much love flowing around your place!

  23. I wish I had a little baby in my belly so I couldn't bend over... enjoy it while it lasts!!!! You probably aren't exactly thinking that but I do miss being pregnant and the anticipation! You have lots of extra hands there to grab that weed. Sometimes the weeds make us appreciate those pretty flowers more!

  24. I am sewing up a storm with your fabric this weekend and really appreciating your sense of color. Happy Spring!

  26. So excited for your boy! What a fun big family you will have. Coming from a part Greek family I can only imagine how crazy your house gets sometimes:) I know ours always was. Congrats!

  27. I'm enjoying my first un-pregnant spring in three years. Heaven, I tell you. Pure heaven. But you can find your toes remarkably well for an 8 month mama!

  28. Hey hey! You are not that big! You looked great when I saw you at the fabric store on Saturday. It was fabulous to meet you after hearing so much about you from Meg and the folks at the store.
You looked all beautiful and ready for a new baby. Those girls of yours are in for a treat!

  29. Congratulations on the impending birth of your baby boy. I also have just evened the score to 3 & 3 - it's wonderful ( it's the only thing that is even and matched in our house!)

  30. Your feet and toes are skinnier than my un-pregnant ones. I would be swollen like a spring river from the knees, no, neck down by now!

  31. glad you can't pull that weed is a geranium!!!!
Have enjoyed your blog for a long time, love what you do.

    ReplyDelete
  32. That 'weed' is definitely a perennial geranium! It will either have pretty blue, pink or white flowers. They grow into nice spreading neat clumps, and can be divided to give you more in 3 years.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Can't bend over and yet you have such nice toenails! I have no excuses - time for a pedicure for me I think ;)

  34. I liked photos I can smell them :)
