Now that bits and pieces of my newest fabric collection have spilled here and there around the internet, I thought I should formally introduce you to Garden Party! Juliana and I just finished up some new photos for the line as shown above and I am so happy with the glowi-ness of it all. I waited as long as I could in the day to have a glowing evening sunlight and came close to not having enough time for the shoot. We went to the Cheekwood Gardens here in Nashville and both ooohed and awwwed the whole time we walked around taking pics.
My thoughts for Garden Party were first and foremost inspired by the palette of beautiful things I collected as I was preparing to host a huge engagement party for an old friend last year. I was gathering flowers, cakes, linens, cocktails mixes, wines, working in the garden, and thinking ahead to what it would be like to have such an eclectic group of people in my home all to celebrate the happy couple on a sweltering hot August evening. I thought about all the elements that pull a party together, from the bouquets on the tables to the tiles on the dancefloor and the sometimes quirky, sometimes romantic combinations of different personalities meeting up for the first time. I was inspired by the optimism of the 50's and the clever swank of the 40's.
The colorways were inspired by thoughts of a sunny morning of preparations slowly growing into an afternoon of fierce anticipation and finally a night of low-lit celebration. My memories of the evening are mesmerizing...... the way the fading light intensified the gardens around our gathering and how the energy of the guests maintained through the last glass of wine. I wanted the line to be colorful, but not without mood, so I set in some deep saturated tones.
Above is the Morning Palette. I've been wanting to use this little piece of free html that attaches to a flickr set for a while. Perfect excuse and nice to not have to load all the big pic files into this post.
Above is the Afternoon Palette. You'll notice that each slide has the title and fabric style number listed below. Keep going to the right (numbered pages below icons) to see more icons in the slideshow.
And the Evening Palette. Each of the images represents about 12 x 18" of fabric. This collection is the regular lovely and versatile quilting cotton weight and 45" wide. There are a total of 44 fabrics (whew) in the whole collection. Lots and lots of possibilities!
And this is the "Garden Wall" quilt that will be available here very soon. And speaking of available, most stores will be receiving their Garden Party shipments in the next few weeks. We'll have it up in the AMShop, just as soon as I'm all rested and back from vacation. (In fact some lucky ducks have already gotten a few surprise scraps in their scrap bags!)
You know. I'll be in such a good mood by the time I get back from the beach (as opposed to all the bad moods I'm typically steaming through) that I just might feel like sending a cordial invitation, in the form of a fabric stack, for a Garden Party in your sewing studio. Perhaps to a few of you. It is a party! Anyone? Join me? Pick your favorite fabric from the collection and leave the name of it in a comment. Take your time, I'll be busy sunning my lazy bones between chasing sandy-reared children up and down the coast of South Carolina. Be back in about ten days.
I'll miss you and have fun looking, hope you love it! It is for you, after all.
xoxo, Anna
I love the evening colors: guest of honor in navy and rose, dance floor in burgundy, and fanfare in gold, mingling in rose. I got married last August my colors were brown, pink, and orange. These remind me of the party! Have a wonderful vacation! Thanks for sharing your creative fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love, love, love everything about this collection and can't wait to get my hands on it. I think my favorite is guest of honor maybe in ice though it is a tough call. I also love mingling in ice and centerpiece in olive. I have been looking for the perfect fabric for some pillows for my couch and I am so happy to have finally found them right here. Good work and thank YOU!
ReplyDeleteYummy, yummy, yummy. If I have to choose - fanfare ah10 blue was the first gut "gotta have it" tonight :)
ReplyDeleteThey are all so lovely it is hard to pick a favorite. I like the centerpiece pattern, but I also really like guest of honor in the rose color. Beautiful, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLovely! Lovely! What a treat! It really captures the mood of late summer. Well it is hard to pick just one favorite - but I really love tablecloth ah19 in brown. It would make spectacular dramatic curtains in my living room.
ReplyDeleteI think my favourite is "Tablecloth" in the Rose colourway. Gorgeous. They are all fabulous, and your models are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI too love guest of honor in the rose color.
ReplyDeleteYour creativity & love of all things beautiful inspires me. Thanks.
Abby
the evening tablecloth is great, everything is great though!
ReplyDeleteI love them all. I can't pick which is my favourite, but right at this very moment it's Guest of Honour. No, wait. It's Mingling. Hope you have a fab holiday!
ReplyDeleteTrying to choose a favorite from all this absolute deliciousness is near impossible. I have waited with bated breath to see the new fabrics and now my pulse is racing. You have out done yourself and I will probably go broke trying to collect it all over time. ha! Honestly it's like walking through a field of flowers and trying to pick just one as a favorite....nearly impossible. To win even scraps would be a joy!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a relaxed and wonderful holiday!
hello Anna, I have been enjoying your blog for some time now. I have an old friend designing for Michael Miller fabrics. She recommended your page. I marvel at your lovely designs and I am pleased to meet your family and see that they are still your first priority. It is hard to choose a favorite fabric. I like social climber in teal and green. I think these fabrics would make great tablecloths, pillowcases, hostess aprons or matching little girl's dresses.
ReplyDeletePicking one favourite is almost impossible - they're all brilliant!
ReplyDeleteThe one to choose though....ummm...I'll say Mingling, but I can't pick which colour, that's just too difficult. :-D
I'd love to join the party! So difficult to chose one favourite! but I especially love tablecloth and centrepiece (in all the colourways!)Have a good holiday!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just like asking someone to pick a favorite child? Well, when pressed I'd have to say that fanfare in rose, no gold, no rose - argh - is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThat would be Social Climber, AH17 in Ice.... Love love love, can't wait to make a little something for me. We've had the collection in store for a few weeks now and it is going like hotcakes!
ReplyDeleteI love receiving line in the afternoon palette the best--but actually I love all of them! They are beautiful; I can't wait to see them in the stores!
ReplyDeleteIt's Centerpiece Navy for me -- but I really love how all the different fabrics coordinate! The sum is even better than the parts. Which are already great.
ReplyDeleteI hope I didn't steal any thunder by posting about Garden Party earlier this week! I love seeing it in action here and hearing about the inspiration.
oh my im in love! i love you fanfare ah10 rose, waltz gold ah17 gold, tablecloth ah19 brown, i could go on and on...but i guess if i have to pick a favorite its the fanfare ah10 rose! so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHow can anyone pick just one? I am torn between Fanfare blue or Mingling rose. They are all so lovely as seen it your beautiful quilt. Hope yo have a lovely and relaxing vacation.
ReplyDeleteWow – what a fantastic collection! I absolutely love the dresses your girls are wearing. My favourite print at this moment (so hard to choose) would be “guest of honor” ah16 rose. Have a wonderful vacation.
ReplyDeleteAs always Anna Maria, beautiful. I love the way you've separated the ranges temporally. The light on my side of the world is considerably harsher and the time of day makes such a difference to how colour looks to us. I love tablecloth ah19/brown for its boldness but I also love waltz gold/ah 17 gold for its nostalgic subtlety.
ReplyDeleteGreat work!
I think fanfare in rose - but it's hard to choose!
ReplyDeleteHow to pick???? Your colors are vivid, bold, bright, lovely!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf I had to choose, I'd say dancefloor burgundy, or mingling gold (actually all mingling), receiving line lime, and the polka lines as well, as you can see, can't seem to pick just one!!!!
You must be relieved it is all over for now, enjoy the beach, the family, the rest and come back to create yet more lines!!!
All my best
Potiron in France
I too love them all, however, guest of honor in rose is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI especially love the colour combo in the tablecloth brown. So pretty. The colours just pop off the computer screen.
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOODNESS! How fun! I was so lucky to actually see these gorgeous fabrics in person at Market and of course meet the talented artist behind them. ;) If I had to pick one, I'd say the tablecloth print in brown... just lovely. We are heading off to vacation in a few hours too (Florida) but I just thought I'd check in on my fave blogs before taking off. Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteI think they are ALL sooo pretty and difficult to chose a favorite. But if I could go just for one single design, probably guest of honor in ice...
ReplyDeleteThis is soul food, my friend. Thank you for blessing us with this loveliness. Just like my children I love them all equally (*winking* at mingling in gold)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as usual..it's so difficult to choose a fave! But if I have to choose,I have to say the "centerpiece" pattern in the 3 different palette..and fanfare..
ReplyDeleteHmmm, receiving line in lime I think. But really, those boots!!!! Juliana looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Receiving line is especially unique and pretty. Hope you have a wonderful trip.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I like fanfare in rose or gold the best, I think, but the ice mingling is also rather wonderful, as is the rest...
ReplyDeleteI love them all. Fanfare in blue is my favorite, followed closely by Social Climber in gold.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning range! I love the names, so clever! My picks would be Centrepiece in Rose, or Mingling in Ice. Enjoy your summer break; I'm happy enjoying winter right now!
ReplyDeleteI think my favourite is mingling in the afternoon palette but it was a very hard choice
ReplyDeleteI love them all - they are gorgeous! My favorites would have to be social climber in gold and centerpiece in olive. Those dresses are adorable too! Have a wonderful vacation!!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the new collection and how clever names:-) My favourite, although it's hard to choose, is tablecloth in rose. Hope you had a wonderful vacation!
ReplyDeleteI love the social climber in ice, and the mingling in teal, and all the polka dots, I just want to make sundresses and cute skirts out of them all.
ReplyDeleteI love them all...but if I have to pick one favorite it would be mingling gold or brown. Love all the polka dots, too. Looking forward to when they go "live"
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful fabrics, I think I love the tablecloth in green ah19. Have fun at the beach!
ReplyDeleteThey're all so lovely, but if I had to pick a favourite it would be tablecloth ah19 brown
ReplyDeleteWonderful patterns and colours! Love them!
Difficult question, they are all so beautiful... But, well, I'm in love with "dancefloor". Congratulations and have a nice holidays.
ReplyDeletemy favorite is social climber gold...love the colour scheme!
ReplyDeleteI'll go for the fanfare in blue, the repetative pattern was very interresting.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress, as ever!
ReplyDeleteI love the Dancefloor in burgandy. Absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI'm lovin' AH12ICE I could use lots that...
ReplyDeleteHave fun in SC...We are heading there on the 24th of this month.
Beautiful collection. Love Guest of Honor. The flickr slides are very cool.
ReplyDeletehello,
ReplyDeletemy favorite fabric is receiving line (ah12green).
j'adore cette collection !
happy holidays.
Julie
These are gorgeous, very summery and vibrant. It's hard to pick one as my favourite but mingling in teal is very pretty :)
ReplyDeleteI think the Receiving Line is my favorite--it's great in all the palettes, but the two in the morning palette are the best.
ReplyDeleteAll your designs are beautiful, but my definite favorite is "receiving line" both ice and teal.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is fanfare ah10 green! Gorgeous! Thank you for such a beautiful line of fabric!
ReplyDeleteOooh I love it all, BUT I'd have to say the Morning Collection simply because living out in the country - those colors are very representative of a brisk summer morning! I love iT!
ReplyDeleteI love all your designs;)
ReplyDeleteThey are all gorgeous of course! My favourites are centerpiece, particularly in turquoise, and fanfare, especially in gold. And I'm rather partial to mingling ...
ReplyDeleteI'm in love! The collection is pure divinity! You are a creative genius & so inspiring :) I'm overwhelmed by your talent. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteMy very, very, very favourite is... TABLECLOTH in BROWN. The close runners were: Mingling in Ice, Centerpiece in Olive and Fanfare in Rose. My God, that was a hard decision! :)
I love mingling ah09 gold.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your holidays!
Hello Anna Maria, I feel like I know you, love your blog, love your style, admire your life, and can't wait to buy your book! My favorite from your collection is "Receiving Line" in teal from the Afternoon Palette. It was very difficult to narrow it down to one. I have my fingers crossed!!
ReplyDeleteevery bit of it is beautiful!!! i think the tablecloth - brown is my favorite!!! so so pretty. hope your trip is amazing!
ReplyDeletethey are all beautiful!! but I think guest of honor in the evening palette pretty amazing!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun on the SC coast...oh to go back again! Had a great girlsweekend in May there!
They are all wonderful! But I love "centerpiece" in all three palettes.
ReplyDeleteLooking at all of your fabrics whilst freezing in the depths of our winter here in New Zealand I could choose any one in the 'Garden Wall' and the sun will shine. You clever girl you have blown us away again!
ReplyDeleteRobyn
You have such great inspirational stories behind your color palettes, I love that.
ReplyDeleteFanfare(rose) and Up All Night(green) yum!
Social Climber- Teal
ReplyDeleteI decided that was my favorite before I knew I was supposed to pick one.
The teal is a GORGEOUS shade and the print has such a nice vintage look to it...I want to cover everything I own in it.
These fabrics are so gorgeous it's hard to pick just one. One of my favorites is tablecloth in brown. I think that's the same as on the dress in the first photo. I really love the big print!
ReplyDeletegosh, what a hard decision, all of those are just pure beauties
ReplyDeletebut especially tablecloth ah19 brown, center piece ah15 olive and turquoise, social climber ah18 teal, fanfare ah10 gold and mingling ah 09 rose
Guest of Honor ah16-ice is my favorite. This is a beautiful line.
ReplyDeleteGreat new fabrics! My fav is "social climber / ah18teal".
ReplyDeleteWow, the gold social climber print from the evening collection is my favorite. It has a look of vintage about it, but the hue is bright and fresh. Delicious!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! My favorite is receiving Line in the evening colorway. I can't wait to see these in stores!
ReplyDeleteBreath taking, as always!!!!It would be impossible to choose only one print as FAV, but from those in cold colorway, I just LOVE mingling / ah09 ice and from those in worm colorway, I'm choosing receiving line / ah12 green, even that they are just stunning and will go great together...and absolutely can not wait to get them!!!!!! We are going to Greece in vacation(island Thassos, beach Alyki;) and I will be thinking about you for sure!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful holidays!!!!
xo, Katarina
they are all beautiful...but i think my favorites are the mingling patterns, polkas, and centerpiece in each of the colorways:) Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCenterpiece in turquoise is to die for!! Love it -- thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteCenterpiece ah/15 turquoise. They are all lovely, though!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling the guest of honor in navy in a big way. Thanks for sharing a peek of your new line!
I love Social Climber. Your fabrics are beautiful as are your children. I wish I had your inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteElise
Congratulations to your new fabric line! Very inspiring!!
ReplyDeleteEverything is totally gorgeous. But I love dots and think that polkaline ah 13 brown is stunning. And the tablecloth is also a favorite, especially; ah19 rose.
Thank you for the inspiration!!
I love Centerpiece. It would make a lovely dress for my 4 year old starting Kindergarten this August. Have a great vacation. We just got back from Destin with my 4.
ReplyDeleteHow to pick just one favourite? I am loving all of the centerpiece design, but in navy most of all, or teal, or turquoise . . . Oh dear. Swell job! Enjoy your holidays on the beach with your family!
ReplyDeletewow! everything is amazing! YOU are amazing! i think my favorites are mingling and tablecloth in rose!
ReplyDeletehave fun at the beach!!
I LOVE ALL OF THEM, SO VIBRIANT! MY FAVORITE HAS TO BE FANFARE GOLD.
ReplyDeleteKIM M. - NY
I love fanfare in all the colorways. Your fabric line is amazing.
ReplyDeleteLOVE them all....but my fave by far is tablecloth.ah19.rose.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna have me a long coat in that one.....can't wait!!
My daughter, about Juliana's age, showed me this site last year and it's my favorite feel-good place.
ReplyDeleteOh, the fabulous colors!
Tablecloth (especially in brown) and mingling are my favorite patterns.
I love tablecloth in ice and rose, lime receiving line, and fanfare in all colors....just to name a few!
ReplyDeleteAll of them are beautiful. Such great colors! You are really forcing us to pick just one? OK, Guest of Honor in navy.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time at the beach!
Love them all but if I could pick only one it would be Social Climber ah17.
ReplyDeleteGuest of Honor in Rose is my favorite. It reminds me of my gardening grandma whom I love.
ReplyDeleteOh...to pick a favorite! I would have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE the whold collection! I can't wait to get some Garden love! If I had to choose one...I think it would be Tablecloth ah19 /Brown. I love the flow of the fabric. I also enjoy reading the stories behind the design of the fabric......by readign the ispiration I seemed to be inspired of the possibilities for using the fabric. Enjoy your vacation.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric line. I would have to say my fav is Social climber/ah18teal
ReplyDeleteI can't decide between social climber and tablecloth. All are so fantastic with such great colors. I have a stash of the sketchbook fabric (bought from pink by post), and I am trying to decide how to best use that one!
ReplyDelete-- Michele
Centerpiece from the Afternoon Palette is my favorite...although it is nearly impossible to choose just one! They are all gorgeous. COngrats on another superb fabric collection!!
ReplyDeleteI love the morning colours, bt to pick one a the best...hmmm...receiving line/ah12 ice
ReplyDeletemaybe
I really like the guest of honor in rose fabric. The whole evening palette really appeals to me.
ReplyDeleteGosh what a talent you have, and a lovely family as well. The fabric is all stunning and it's almost impossible to pick a fave but at the moment mine is mingling in teal.
ReplyDeleteI love your designs. I think my favorite in this line is the mingling/gold. Sewing with all those bright colors make for a happy afternoon!
ReplyDeleteGina
Anna,
ReplyDeleteThe rich hues in your garden party quilt are so wonderful. I love rich colour and so often it is very difficult to find in especially cotton. Your newest collection is wonderful. I especially love fanfare ah10 blue. The bluish torquoise with the burgundy red is so my favorite combination lately! I can already see a quilt in it!
Cheers to a wonderful vacation with the family. I truly hope you can enjoy!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful creations.
Paula :)
I love love love the whole line! the afternoon mingling is my favorite- so beautiful- so many ideas are swimming in my head! have a wonderful vacation
ReplyDeleteMeg
These are all so beautiful. What I love about your fabric collections is how everything coordinates, but isn't too "matchy-matchy". If I want to use only your line of fabric in a quilt, it looks beautiful, with out looking like I only used one line.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say my favorites are "fanfare" and "guest of honor". Really gorgeous!
Wow! Thanks so much for sharing your inspiration for this line, and the process you go through as you pull it all together. Fascinating!
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are the Dance Floor in green and Guest of Honor - from the Morning Palette. Just beautiful! :)
As I begin the 2nd hundred comments, just let me say that the Guest of Honor is beautiful in any colorway.
ReplyDeleteIf I just had to pick one, I think it would be Mingling, but Recieving Line is right behind it! Beautiful fabrics! I love the colorways!
ReplyDeleteErin
They are all so beautiful but the ones I think I might love most are tablecloth/ah19 in ice or green, I can't decide! Have a great vacation - I can't wait to see the fabrics in person!
ReplyDeleteCenterpiece in olive, no wait, social climber, no wait...I have too many favorites to choose from! Oh how much fun I imagine it to be to release such beautiful fabric. It seems like the best party to me. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteIt is all amazing Anna Maria! Another job well done! If I had to pick a favorite it would definately be guest of honor, however I can't pick a favorite colorway of it. They are all gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHow to choose? They're all lovely and I'll love them even more once I have the lovies in my hand...but I think I like the Centerpiece/olive...love the colors! Great job. And the pillowcase dress tutorial is perfect! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWildly beautiful! I am banned from sewing until I finish a thesis but I have a gorgeous friend who could do with some cheering up. I know she would love it all but I reckon centrepiece ah15 navy or guest of honor ah16 rose would be somewhere at the top of her list. Hope you had a wonderful, salty time.
ReplyDeleteOh dear. Pick ONE favorite?! Those lovely saturated berry reds are calling my name, but I'm going to go with Guest of Honor in navy. Wouldn't that make a fabulous table cloth? It'd be worth buying new china to put on top. I've been reading your blog for months and forwarding it to friends - even ones who don't quilt or sew. There's so much to enjoy in what you write and create. And I'm a sucker for posts featuring Leo the Labrador.
ReplyDeleteso beautiful! all of them. i have to say my favorite after going through every one of them (several times, i might add!) is guest of honor/ah16 ice. the crispness, the cool tone, the print itself... it's gorgeous.
ReplyDeletewhether or not my comment is chosen, i am very pleased to wish you congratulations on a beautiful collection.
Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI really like all the dancefloor fabrics but the teal is my fav :o)
staceyrothrock at yahoo.com
I like tablecloth AH19green, but to make us choose a favorite - come on - that's almost cruel. They are ALL so beautiful and that quilt - OH THAT QUILT! Thanks for the great line and thanks for the giveaway opportunity.
ReplyDeleteOh! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Receiving Line in all the color ways!! Just beautiful! Congrats! Libby
ReplyDeleteWow! My fave is AH14 green, but I"m really drawn to everything in the evening palette, too. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteoh, I love them all! Especially the Social Climbers in the Morning and Mingling in the Afternoon (oh, this sounds like we're talking about a garden party!)
ReplyDeleteI love fanfare and up all night. The colors in the evening quilt are stunning!
ReplyDeletei really love centerpiece in all three colors...what a hard decision!
ReplyDeletehave a great trip to the beach..
:)laura f
I love receiving line, ice~
ReplyDeleteHaving to wait....torture. I love the tablecloth in brown and the dress - that's fantastic!
ReplyDeletei LOVE this new line of yours! Wonderful colors! If I had to choose, I'd pick Guest of Honor or Centerpiece as my favorite. I love the richness of the colors in them!!!
ReplyDeleteYour style...your colors...I just love love love it! Though really, guest of honor in rose is calling out for me. Simply gorgeous. Yes, I want a garden party now!
ReplyDeleteHave a great vacation!
I love your latest collection - I'm having a hard time deciding which one I like best, but I think I like the evening palette\ guest of honor best.
ReplyDeleteCenterpiece in navy...no, in teal...no, in navy...ugh! I can't pick a favorite -- they are all so fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting a fun giveaway -- I'd be tickled pink if I won!
It's so nice to finally get a good look at garden party. I've seen bits and pieces around the internet, but only enough to make my mouth water.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely attracted most to the morning party set. It's so light. I adore the dots but would have to say my favorite print is the turquoise centerpiece... it just looks like it hold so many possibilities for bags and garments!
Congrats Anna Maria!! Another job well done!
All the fabrics are great. I love the receiving line in lime. The go withs are amazing.
ReplyDeleteHappy beach time!
my favorite is social climber/ah17 green
ReplyDeletethat pattern reminds me so much of my grandmother's house :)
have a wonderful vacation
My garden is my happy place and this fabric does capture that feeling. I love the receiving line in teal. Might have to make a handbag out of that one. :)
ReplyDeleteSO unfair - I'm still sroking the fabric I have from Drawing Room, and Now THIS. I hope you have a lovely time on vacation. I will be spending the time drooling over yur latest strokes of brilliance. Thank you for sharing this with us. I am in love. I don't know how I could possibly pick a favorite. It would be like choosing a favorite child (and they aren't even my own children.) I'll stop gushing now...just needed to swoon a bit before regaining my composure, and wipe the drool from my lip so I can start dreaming of sweltering evenings and glowing mornings and all the loveliness your collections inspire! (Beautiful girls, in beautiful clothing, as well!)
ReplyDeleteIT really is hard to pick a favorite but I like the guest of honor. I can't wait to find a place that I can order it. I have dreams of cute bags and acessiories dancing in my head.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics! My favorites are the receiving line prints, particularly in the teal from the afternoon pallette & the green (purple?) from the evening pallette. Have a great vacation!
ReplyDeleteOh you make it so hard to pick with all those beautifully vibrant colors and patterns. AND...the story behind it all makes it so much more personal.
ReplyDeleteAfter much deliberation guest of honor in ice is my favorite!
Have a great vacation.
Love those dresses!!!! It's hard to choose but, I guess I'll say my favorite is evening tablecloth/ah19 Rose. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't decide between tablecloth rose and guest of honor. What a beautiful line of fabric! Oh and I LOVE the Garden Wall quilt!
ReplyDeleteI would have to say that I love the Guest of honor in blue. I didn't know that I loved blue so much!
ReplyDeleteHave a great vacation.
-Andre'a
Love love love Guest of Honor-navy!
ReplyDeleteWow, it's hard to choose one, but the centerpiece/ AH15 just screams sun dress!!! Love the use of all the bold colors. Well done, again!!
ReplyDeleteAH09 Gold! I love that...they are all really great I just am on an orange kick lately and that one hits the spot. Awesome job as always.
ReplyDeleteAs a mom of 4 boys, I'm always on the lookout for boyish fabrics. The Dancefloor design in Teal just might work. ;o)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics!
I love the afternoon colors. Especially the polka dot ones!
ReplyDeleteI'd say guest of honor and social climber (which reminds me of a china pattern) in the morning palette.
ReplyDeleteI would love having some of each:D They are wonderful and I have had a hard time finding them online! My favorite is "Social Climber" in teal! I can see so many creations done in this fabric:D I am thinking of doing over a bedroom in this fabric with coordinating fabrics:D
ReplyDeleteThey are all wonderful. I think my favorite is the Centerpiece - AH15.
ReplyDeleteYou should be so proud!!
Love them all so hard to choose I really like the handbag in the pic. I hope you and your family have a wonderful vacation
ReplyDeletewow! These dresses are fabulous! I can't wait to get my hands on this fabric : )
ReplyDeleteyou really are an amazing designer. guest of honor ah16 navy is one of many that i love!
ReplyDeleteI think they are all incredible! I guess if I have to pick one it would be the Morning Palette/ guest of honor/ ah16 ice - love those colors! Have a fun trip!
ReplyDeleteMagnifique, coloré, joyeux! I love the evening palette, but, really, I love them all..they inspire me for future projects!
ReplyDeleteToo bad we can't get these in France, I wish I could touch and feel those colors!

ReplyDeleteI love Mingling in every color. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWow! Beautiful!!! I love the morning palette especially guest of honor! Incredible work! Enjoy your rest at the beach!
ReplyDeletefanfare/ah10 rose…swoon!
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely.
I love the dancefloor pattern in all colors! What a great print for so many things! I can see it in clothing and a quilt. The whole line is YUMMY, can't wait to pet some of it and dream of the things I can make with it when my kids sleep at night!
ReplyDeleteMy fave is "guest of honor - ah16 ice". It's so fresh and welcoming...like a guest of honor! Perfect!
ReplyDeleteYou've blown me away again. AnnaMariamazing! I love dancefloor and the mingling in gold is so pleasant!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all the social climbers! The evening social climber is my favorite of them, but I'm definitely gonna have to get me some social climbers in my house soon!

The fabric line is just great. I can't wait to find it in the shops that I go to. Especaily the receiving line in lime. . . I can't wait to figure out something to make with that. I'm loving the the pillow case dress. Now I'm hopeing to find some cool cases to convert for my babe
ReplyDeleteMingling in gold!! But I am such an orange girl, I'll snatch up anything in orange. This entire collection is so fabulous, I know I'll not be able to resist the first time I see it in one of my favorite shops!!
ReplyDeleteI love every single one of these new fabrics. You've really outdone yourself with this new collection. It's so exciting! My favorite is Guest of Honor in Navy. So vibrant and lively! Hope you have a wonderful vacation on the beach.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure I can find a favorite fabric design. They are all wonderful. You have such a talent. I cannot wait to get crafty with the fabrics. Would love to win a fabric stack that I could get started with. Franklin, TN
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, so many beautiful combinations of colors and patterns. I love the morning and afternoon palettes, the olive, rose and blues mesh together so well. Too many choices! You designed wonderful fabric! Enjoy your vacation.
ReplyDeleteKaren~
These are awesome. I love the story behind the collection! It made sense as I was looking through each set and the anticipation did start to build. I think I would cover anything I own in the evening collection. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love them all, but centerpiece is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteReceiving line..ice...hmmm...mingling in teal...I'm not sure I can decide. Of course I love them all. This is a beautiful line. I can see it in so many things. Any one would work for me! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteIt would have to be Mingling. I'm crazy for the turqouise.
ReplyDeleteSo impossible to choose just one favorite! It is a stunning collection and I want it ALL!
ReplyDeleteI have to go with centerpiece if I HAD to name one fave!
I know if I saw one or two of these in a store that I'd be drawn to them. But, with them all displayed here it is waaaay too hard to choose a favorite. I love each palate for their very own reasons. 'Centerpiece' is a favorite because of it's intricacy- yet it doesn't look "cluttered". Yet, I'm normally a simpler person- so the less ornate patterns like 'mingling' make me super happy. Job well done, Anna Maria!
ReplyDeleteFanfare in the afternoon palette is my favorite, but they're all really pretty!
ReplyDeleteMy fave (so far) is Mingling in Ice.
ReplyDeleteI just picked up a few yards of this at Stitchers Garden in downtown Franklin. She's got all of it! Beautiful!!!!
HI AH! Guest of Honor, in Gold would have to be my fave in this collection. That bright big yellow flower is a knockout! I could see a pretty something for my 5 year old in that fabric...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful introduction to some beautiful designs. I love the Guest of Honor. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGuest of Honor, in gold....all of them are works of art...tough to pick just one!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pillowcase tute..adorable!
I can tell, with this collection (and Drawing Room), that you are firmly in your creative element. Truly stunning, inspiring, and beautiful work. I love it all.
ReplyDeleteIf I have to choose, I particularly love Up All Night in green and Social Climber in teal.
oh MY GOODNESS! I LOVE THEM ALL! But I have to choose - I really like Centerpiece, Fanfair or quest of honor - I adore the detail! I just can't pick ONE! lol.
ReplyDelete*squee* I am so happy because I just ordered a scrapbag so I hope I get a scrp!
THANK you for creating this. *hugs* Btw - I love the dresses too!
Your collection is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the evening palette. Tablecloth ah19 in brown!
Your collections are so modern and fanciful. Thank you!
It's very hard to say which one is prettier or even to choose one. I spen a lot of time checking and rechecking them so I could try and find one I could say liked the most. After a really hard job, I would say, if I have to choose one, it would be "mingling/ah09 ice". I loved the sublty design and the cool colours. REally a beautiful work. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteSo hard to pick! I love Mingling in every color way, but Social Climber is so fun too. And Centerpiece is gorgeous...especially in navy. Too many to pick a favorite! Have a wonderful, relaxing beach trip Anna Maria.
ReplyDeleteI love all the fabrics in this collection. If I had to pick it would be the evening palette - receiving line ah12 green.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to get my hands on some of this!
The new line of fabric is beautiful!! Well done!

Choosing is not easy! But I'm really drawn to Morning. Love the fabric, can't wait to get my hands on some!
ReplyDeleteWow, you have truly outdone yourself here. 44 fabrics is crazy awesome! I must admit that my favorite is Guest of Honor in ice. I love the contrast of the light blue to the bold bright white. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics! My favorite was most definitely the evening tablecloth in brown. Congrats on your new line!
ReplyDeleteOh Anna you are so talented. This is amazing. My fave would be the morning palette, CENTERPIECE.

All the vibrant colours leave me breathless. Congratulations on a beautiful collection. I love them all. I'm off to the beach also. We leave Saturday and expect to be in a wonderful relaxed mood also. Count me in for a chance at an invitation. Once again congratulations and have a fantastic holiday.
ReplyDeleteSo so SO nice! I kept choosing the centerpiece and tablecloth patterns in different colorways. Centerpiece in olive and tablecloth in brown. Okay, if I HAVE to choose . . . umm, so hard, tablecloth in brown. There. Decisiveness in action. Beautiful job Ms. Horner.
ReplyDeletei just love guest of honor in blue!!!
ReplyDeletei would love to know about the pattern for your daughter's dress!!! i want to make it!
Gorgeous! I love many of them, but I'm partial of yellow roses, which I carried at my wedding, so Social Climber in Ice it is. :>
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice story. I just love the morning colors but it is morning now, maybe I'll like the evening colors best in the evening....
ReplyDeleteI love the receiving line ah12 ice. It's so pretty! Have fun at the beach!
ReplyDeleteI like the morning palette the best, but I like all of the versions of the receiving line pattern! What pretty fabrics, all of them :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I like the Tablecloth pattern... I LOVE all the colors. And I am currently singing, "I went to a garden party..." Uh, I wish I knew more of the song!
ReplyDeleteguest of honor / ah16 ice
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
Fanfare ah10 gold is my favorite. Heading to Kiawah Island on SC coast myself with my little ones and extended family as well this week! There's nothing quite like a lazy summer beach vacation. Enjoy some much deserved time off with your family.

ReplyDeleteI love th entire collection, but the afternoon is my favorite, more suited for a redhead. Mingling in ice (1st) and Mingling in teal (2nd) are my favorites.

You are killing me with all of these beautiful new fabrics. The color pairings are stunning. Its hard to pick one but that tablecloth in brown or rose (especially in that dress) gives me goosebumps :)

Beautiful! I love the bright, rich colors. If I had to pick a favorite, would be....
ReplyDeleteWell, I couldn't decide, so my daughter picked centerpiece in turquoise.
Oh My! Pick just one??!! I just can't. I'm drooling over the lot of them! If I absolutely had to pick just one....I'd say centerpiece and probably in navy (if I had to go with just one!!) i can't wait to get my hands on these! They'll make fabulous dresses, oh and new pillows and chairs for my studio!
ReplyDeleteThanks for another great line Anna Maria!
Fanfare and socialclimbing!! I love them all. I that beautiful dress in your first photo. I can also see some great pillows to add color anywhere. Hmm, maybe even a new doggy bed! The patterns are all gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many that I just *love*! I can't wait to get my hands on. If I have to choose a favorite. I think it would be Tablecloth in Rose. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI really like the Guest of Honor pattern, particularly in the morning colorway--just lovely. They are all truly lovely, though; it is a fabulous collection!
