Tatted, not torn
My mother-in-law stopped over last night for a visit, and shared a whole box full of old photos of Jeff, his brother, and family. We all sat around the table and enforced a continuous passing of pictures from one to the other, all of us anxious to see and hold the source of each awwwe or giggle. She also brought me these gorgeous linen hankies that were made by Jeff's great grandmother, each either tatted or crocheted by her. In resilient condition despite their delicate nature. I feel so honored to have them in my care, and hope to keep them (and be) as resilient.
My trip to Colorado was so, so enjoyable. It was a packed schedule, but packed with utterly kind and creative individuals that left me feeling refreshed and inspired. I have a load of photos over here in case ya wanna see. And also CONGRATULATIONS to Lisa Lee Bishop who won my Friday giveaway from last week! A bit of a late posting here, sorry! But email us to claim your loot lady!
