My new embroidery patterns are (finally) at the printer and waiting for a few tweaks then out of the gates. Every task in creating the patterns, and the packaging, just made me want to sit down and stitch them! Thankfully stitching is part of the job, but not nearly a big enough part for me. Pssh. The above cabbage rose is included in the Fields Aflutter embroidery pattern and is just realized in this piece with a simple back stitch. See? Doesn't have to be complicated to be pretty. This one will get appliqued onto a larger work. Right now it's just hanging out on a needlepoint I made in Greece when I was 11.
PEOPLE! I have been remiss to announce the Summer Social giveaway winners here on the blog for the past two Fridays! What the heck, apologies, natch! So let's pile up our 3 FB liker winners which includes today's win:
Susan Everett Harris, Valerie J. Collins & Stefanie Holt Templeton
Yay! If you're one of these 3 lucky ladies send us an email at customerserviceATannamariahornerDOTcom, tell us your favorite color and we'll sent you some fun, creative loot whether you want it or not. That's how it works. I'm in charge.
And that wraps up the summer giveaways, which can only mean that Fall is that much closer, now that we're at the end of August. Remarkable how time is marching along right now.
