Boy Turns 2 (or Boy Turns On His Mother, just depends on how you look at it really)

birthdaybib

Guesses his birthday bib is pretty cool, erhh that could be the lollipop talkin'.

chills.with.pop

Thinks, yea that is a really good lollipop. Mmmm. Likes turning 2. 2's his favorite.

bet.you.wish.you.had.a.lollipop

Bets you wish you had a lollipop.

thinks.bib.is.cool

Yep. Its not a big deal, but its pretty good. Bib is okay, he guesses.

changes.mind.about.bib

(.0002 seconds later) NO NO NO NO, I hate it, I hate the bib, bibs are for babies, what do you think I am, A BABY?

what.the.heck.do.I.need.a.bib.for

Mom. Chill. What the heck. Don't need a bib. I'm 2.

loulouthi.laminates

2-ness aside, Roman's mom would like to share some more wishful thinking for you. These are the Loulouthi laminate prints for willing babies, toddlers and general all around people everywhere. We hope you love them (at least for a minute or two).

Back to the other 207 pictures I took during 3 minutes with one bib, one lollipop, and one very grown-up (sniff) 2-year-old boy. Happy, happy birthday to my sweet boy.

xoxo, Anna

Happy birthday, Roman! I think your bib is the cutest on the block for sure! And I'm sending you a blog-hug, AM, for this milestone! I'm dreading Layla's second...and all the rest after that. Where the heck does the time go?

LOVE Love them!

it seems like just yesterday he was a little nugget! I've loved seeing pictures of this little guy growing up. Thank you for sharing!

Happy Birthday, Roman! We know exactly how you feel... Ok, so maybe I don't. I'd love to be wearing Loulouthi right now. But, yeah, not a bib.

Loved the post, Anna!

Happy Birthday to your beautiful boy! I just love your λουλούδι prints : )

Many years to the 2 year old! So expressive!

Ooh love the fabrics, even if Roman doesn't! ;)

Spoon oil... I have one lovely wooden spoon, but one of my cats loves it and gets up on the counter and rubs his face on it and licks it unless I hide it in a drawer where I promptly forget about it. I don't know why the cat loves that spoon so much! But b/c of that it's a decorative item, not a functional one.

Two cute! But didn't he just turn one a couple of weeks ago? ;)

LOVE the laminates. The whole loulouthi line is wonderful. The pretty and practical beauty you create never ceases to amaze me. All that and you have a fabulous sense of humor, too.

Your gorgeous energy comes right through the screen every time I visit your site. Thank you!

Hahaha happy birthday Roman. Jacob also hates bibs now - he's 2 too.

Wow Roman is 2 already. He looks like such a big boy, much better w/o the bib : )

Awwww, I can't believe this guy is so big already!!!

I CANNOT BELIEVE that Roman is TWO! I cannot believe that I have been following you and hanging on your every word and every beautiful design for what must be three or four years now. You were just pregnant! How could time have gone by this quickly? How can it be that I have this many emotions for a lovely woman and her lovely family, all of whom I have never met and probably will never meet. Ah, those who say you can't make meaningful connections on the internet have not yet fallen in love with you.

Happy birthday, Roman.
And thank you, Miss Anna Maria, for sharing your wonderful life with us all, through all of these years.

Would the laminates work for lunch bags? Sorry, in advance, if this is a really dumb question. Thank you!

Debbie

P.S. I'm coming to Nashville for the first time this weekend, any breakfast place suggestions? Thanks!

Oh! and Happy Birthday to Roman, you just want to hug him!

I have a newly turned two year old at my house and that last photo, I've been seeing a lot of that same expression lately. Classic. Oh, and the laminate is lovely. :)

I've been so into making laminate bibs with pockets at the bottom as presents lately! I'm so excited about these!

Happy birf-day to a very sweet 2-year-old!

Happy Birthday Roman! My youngest is 21 months. I wanted to name him Roman, but my husband said Roman Romeo sounded weird. I think Roman is such a fabulous name no matter what the surname. Love your fabric. All perfection.

Our 2 year olds were born on the same day. I got many pictures of these same looks today, one with head thrown back, mouth wide open in a full on tantrum. Lol. Happy birthday to gorgeous Roman.
And I am SO gonna snatch up some of that big print!

Lol - my (almost) two year old feels the same way!
I just wanted you to know how much I'm loving this line - my favorite of yours yet!
PS - my little Phoebe thinks your Roman is pretty cute :)

my boy is 2 as well. And turns on his mommy as well. Dum Dum lollipops are my life saver especially at the grocery store.
Love the bib, even if its only for a second;D

Two?! Wait you were just pregnant with him. You were just pregnant and writing a cool book with Mommy projects. Where did those two years go?!!! (And he is adorable, btw)

Gorgeous laminates, gorgeous boy...too funny...my Mr No.2 is almost 2 as well and his reaction would be exactly the same to the bib! Love the collection by the way....must find a way to justify yet another fabric line purchase.....love loulouthi! speaks to my greek heritage :)

One of your regular commenters, Melissa P.,from the blog 100 Billion Stars, has some great tips on quilting with laminates on her blog today. She used a laminate to back a quilt she will be using as a picnic quilt, which I thought was a brilliant idea. Your laminates would work just "fab" with that project. Don't you think? I will add her link here, for your readers. Carolina

What?! This is impossible.
Even seeing your regular pictures of Roman, I could not guess it has been two years.
~Happy Birthday, Roman! Don't you turn on your mama... face it, you will always be her baby, big boy!

Eva said...

Really? TWO? Wow!

I love the pictures! So much emotion captured so brilliantly! :-)

Love the laminates, too! :-) I'm one of the general all around people and think I'll love them for more than two minutes and you won't even have to bribe me with a lollipop!

So funny! My daughter went from "terrible two's" to "PMS" - no relief...but what a miracle - such a sweet, selfless adult.

Oh, by the way love the bib and the laminates!

Happy Birthday, Roman!
