What an inspiring story. I'm sure it was a delight to work with all those beautiful quilt blocks and lovely women! I also wanted to say, I ordered a copy of handmade beginnings from an online store recently and it arrived in the mail today. It's gorgeous and the pictures are divine. With lots of friends due to have sweet babes over the next few months, I'm going to be one very busy women!

I love the news segment, they did a great job. AND I am so proud of you, the women helping and those who sent in fabric. My husband and I are from Southern Ca. and we came back to be close to our family again but we used to live in Brentwood, Tn. We were always so moved by how nice people there were - it's nice to be moved by it, again.
Oh WOW - what an amazing achievement and a huge inspiration. It is magical to watch this and see you all working together, see the quilts coming together and to hear you all speaking about comfort and unity and love.
My thoughts and good wishes go out to all those affected by the floods and boundless admiration goes out to you and the sewing circle.
