And don't I look young for my age??
Roman has been a total blog-hog, so I figured the only way I could compete was to give you little Me. And sucker you into wishing me Happy Birthday! Do you find that you have to remind everyone around you as the years move on?? Thats okay. I just about had to send myself an email reminder, bc lately July 31 just feels like the last day of the month which prompts me into freaking out that I haven't gotten enough done in July. Sigh.
I will tell you, I'm not really sure how I'm suppose to feel about 37. Age seems to be mattering less to me these days and the number feels just obscure. I don't know if I feel too young or too old to be 37, so does that make it about right? Perhaps. I was telling Allie (23) the other day how mismatched I feel with the number 37. Its not like I'm in denial, or that I'm in denial about being in denial, its just that after about 30 or so.... your age really is just that. It starts feeling less like something that can actually describe you. Just you wait, I told her, you'll know what I mean someday. And she seemed to believe me about as much as I believed older women enlightening me about age when I was 23. But thats good. Thats part of being 23.
I went into Eleni's (5) room yesterday morning to wake her up with a hug. Leaning in to her sleeping bubbly face, I scooped my arms underneath her pillow and my right hand ran across about 6 marbles that she had tucked under pillow. How awesome, I thought. She has marbles under her pillow. I wanted marbles under my pillow. I didn't know why I wanted marbles under my pillow in that instant. It just seemed so fun. Youthful. I never asked why they were there, or told her to get the marbles out of her bed. I was just glad she is little. And happy. The HAPPY is the part of HAPPY BIRTHDAY that I have figured out. And at the tender (ha!) age of 37, thats pretty good.
Wishing you marbles under your pillow. xoxo, Anna
Happy Birthday, Anna!!!!!! You are an amazingly beautiful person, both inside and out! Hope you have a wonderful day with your wonderful family! <3
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very very happy birthday! and now you have me wanting marbles under my pillow!

Happy Birthday!! I'm a big believer in if you want people to remember your birthday you have to remind them first! =) Great job!
ReplyDeleteI knew in an instant it was you!! Haven't changed a bit. And I can assure you that the years get better as you get older and my age is a reversal of your age!!!
ReplyDeleteStay busy and stay creative as you are and it will never get dull!!! Happy Birthday!! (If you want to let that sweet Roman out for a week or two, call me. He is so precious..as are they all)
Ms. Dale in Ms.
Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I get weird about prime number birthdays. I turned 29 on the 13th, so it's an antsy year for me! Just a quirk! you have accomplished a lot in your 37 years! Go YOU!
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel about age mismatch! I felt that way for the first time this year (32). I've decided that it just is our bodies telling us that the calendar doesn't matter. Happy, marble-infested birthday!!
ReplyDeleteWhen My sweet Grandma was 82, she looked in the mirror and said, "I look like an old woman on the outside, but on the inside I still feel 18."
ReplyDeleteAge is just a number!
Happy Birthday!
This was the first year that I felt my age was just a number (33). It's so much better that way! Have a wonderful birthday and put some marbles under your pillow tonight, maybe they'll bring sweet lovely dreams!! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, Anna! (It's mine, too.) :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Anna! I turned 37 at the end of June and agree that it feels just right. Many happy hugs, marbles, and deserts on your big day!
ReplyDeletea very Happy Birthday to you... hope that the day is extra special...
ReplyDeleteMany happy returns!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a year of happiness!
I think it's our sweet faced children that keep us momma's young! (either that, or humble) ha!
Happy, happy,
Laurie

Happy Birthday sweetie :) May your many blessings continue for many, many years to come :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Anna! I think marbles under your pillow sound just perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteLucy x

ReplyDelete(Sing that to the tune of Happy Birthday for full effect ;)
<3
Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY BIRTHDAY!! You, Young, Hot Mom!!
ReplyDeleteI think this all mostly in our heads... sometimes I feel like 15, and sometimes I think my mother lied to me about my date of birth!!!! and feel twice as old as I am!!!!
ReplyDelete(I'm a little less than 10 years older than you!!!)
Then again you have lots of young kids at home with you plus you're a young mother!!! and you run a successful business!!!! You don't have time to feel old!!!
Happy birthday to you!!! and ENJOY this happiness, it's quite a blessing!!!
Happy Birthday Anna Maria from all the girls at Maisonnette fabric shop!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday - and good thing for found marbles - better than losing your marbles - right - LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great day!
You are just about the cutest 37 year old EVER. (and i'm not even talking about the baby picture)
ReplyDeletemarbles under your pillow... you're too funny.
Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteOh Lordy, you're the same age as me & I look old enough to be your mama. Enjoy your day but enjoy the rest of the year too!
ReplyDeletex
Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sónia
Happy 37th Birthday! I remember being 21 and my Grandmother telling me that she still felt like she was 16 inside and now I understand as I feel the same way! (even if she was 20 years older than I am right now) My children try to tell me I'm a 13 year old, but I insist on being 16 because I like to drive! ha ha Enjoy your day and I hope you find some treasures under your pillow in the morning!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Anna! You have been such an inspiration in my life. I first read about you in ME Home Companion and thought it was wonderful to see another "young" mother with a large family. (I turn 37 in Sept) Thanks for sharing all you do and making our world a prettier, brighter place.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, lovely lady! Just looking at your banner up there brightens my day.
ReplyDeleteAnd I will take your inspiration today and try to find the joy in handfuls of pebbles and "sand cakes" that make their way onto my dining room table!
I didn't realize we have the same birthday...except I'm the big 4-0! and lets just say when it comes to marbles...I'd LOVE to have them under my pillow too. Only then will I realize that I didn't really lose them. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous birthday!!
happy birthday!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday - hope you have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Anna and all the best!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!:0)
Happy Birthday! You and my own sweet girl share the day... only she's 3 today. :o)
ReplyDeleteHaving turned 30 this year (right between you & Allie) I'm realizing your statement about age only being a number is true. So give her till 30 to figure it out. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Birthday, Anna!
-Eve
Have the happiest of days! I'm so glad I discovered your blog. Always brightens my day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday
Happy Happy Birthday to you Anna! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to you today, and you can wish me a Happy 30th Birthday tomorrow!!!!! (if you want!! hehe)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteI myself have gotten stuck at 30-- not because I don't want to get older (I like it-- now I'm wise, you see!) but because in order to know how old I actually am I have to a) know what year it is right now, and b) do the math to subtract 77 from whatever that number might be. Being a poor math student, and perinially unsure of where we are in the 21st century, I've just stuck with 30, and it seems to be wearing pretty well.
Happy birthday! And I am right there with you on the age thing.... I hit 38 last month, and it just seems so completely SURREAL to me that 38 is my age! I agree completely, I can't decide if it is too old or too young, but it just doesn't feel like it BELONGS to me!! Just something to think about, I guess....
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the marbles under the pillow. :-)
Happy Happy Birthday! What is it with kids and toys in their bed? My son always has cars or something under his pillow ... silly. And fun.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!!!! Once I reached 40 I knew for sure that age is just the numbers you've been alive, not a description of who you are!! ;) blow some candles out and have fun!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy happy birthday!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! After reading your post I had to stop and think about how old I was - 23 and it just doesn't feel right. I suppose it's all about how you feel (eternally 18!) not what's on your driver's license :-)
ReplyDelete*~*~* Happy Birthday!!! *~*~* I hope the rest of your day has been as lovely as finding those marbles this morning.
ReplyDeleteI've found my 30's to be wonderful, I wouldn't go back for a millisecond...but I am definitely starting to feel a little disassociated with my age. Not a bad thing!
Happy birthday! I can't put to words what I would like to say - so I won't.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! May it be a joyous day and a year full of grand adventures! Thanks for all the inspiration and happiness on your blog!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Anna! You've now caught up with me! I was laughing with my mom the other day that she was a grandmother and 40 and I'm still have babies at close to that age! Hey..your thirties are the new twenties!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to you!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday dear Anna Maria,
Happy Birthday to you!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lynn
Following up on the "whadja get?" comment I left earlier, it occurred to me that on MY birthday (and Christmas too), I look forward to shopping on-line for AMH fabrics. It's my big treat of the year (not that I don't buy your fabrics other times too - I just know that I for SURE get them on my b'day), which made me wonder. When you're Anna Maria Horner, and you ALREADY have your fabrics, WHAT DO YOU GET?? :-D
ReplyDeleteWhat does the girl who's got it all get on her birthday?
Happy happy joy joy again 2U!
My favorite photo of you of all time--even if you are holding your sister's blankie instead of your sheet.
ReplyDeleteHappy, Happy Birthday, Baby!
Mom
Eleni looks so much like you in that picture! Too cute, and that is why you children are so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR ANNA MARIA, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...AND MANY MORE!!!!
Happiest Happy, Anna!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Age is weird. I know I don't really feel older than I did when I was 12 (except, I just can't turn a cartwheel anymore without straining something!).
ReplyDeleteHappy HAPPY Birthday you youngster. My 50th is coming up this winter and I'm not sure how 50is supposed to feel. People never believe me when I say I'm 49 or that I have a 27yo (of course I also have an 8-1/2yo and 5 in between so maybe the kids keep one young?). Enjoy your day (and ask Eleni for a couple marbles for under your pillow!).
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!
ReplyDelete37 is my number this year too! I find myself confused alot! As in... do I look as old as that person? or... 40 is coming... and I'm often wondering what all the twenty something moms at school are thinking when I pick up my little peeps.....Seriously... I look in the mirror and see the 19 year old I once was.... LOL Enjoy the rest of your day!!
Well having the spread in kids is just the best. I was in my late teens early 20s the first time and it was wonderful and then along came a baby in my thirties, fabulous! But I do know the look when you're hitting the kindergarten pickup line!Happy Birthday AM
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to you, cutie!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! I wish you so many more years of love and happiness!
ReplyDeleteI've always held 37 as a really special number. it's exciting! you rock! keep it up! happiest of days to you... could you stand it!!!??!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to 37. So far, I'm really loving it!!
ReplyDeleteFor your birthday I wish you some sleep, some giggles and a mountain of marbles.
Andi :-)
Happy Birthday, Anna. You are so special and we honestly all love you. Thank you for sharing your family with us...it's a reminder of how it felt when mine was a little guy and the fun and feelings I experienced.
ReplyDeletehappy Birthday to you from this side of the world....Hope you have a wonderful day. I couldn't stop smiling reading your post because my sons do have marbles under their pillows ...... in fact that's where they put their treasures every night....
ReplyDeleteHope you have a HAPPY birthday.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday...what a lovely post:) I may have to change my about me now...you are so right...
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I am 37 too and agree with you, it is sort of a funky in between.

ReplyDeleteWishing you marbles under your pillow and a happy birthday too!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Anna Maria...I didn't know you were a Leo until now, but it makes sense!(I've found that Leo's love color and pattern...I know I do- my B-day is in about 1 week)!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for the year to come.
Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I hope it's a good one :)
ReplyDeleteI remember being 37. I was 37 two years in a row! I just couldn't remember which year I was 37. Now I'm 48 or 49. It doesn't really matter, because I'm almost 50. P.S. I keep all my marbles in an old Ball perfect mason jar on my window sill. That way I can keep track of them all and admire their beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy birthday Anna. 37 marbles under your pillow and pansies in your hair!
ReplyDeleteAge is nothing.
Joie de vivre everything.
42 year old Diana
Hi Anna,
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderfully marbley 37th Birthday! My birthday is on wednesday(32) and do you know what I got for my birthday? A BIG stack of Anna Maria Horner Fabrics, which I am soo excited about! I can feel a quilt coming on. Great to know that you are a Leo like me!
Happy Birthday Again!
Megs xx
Happy, happy day to you!
ReplyDeleteMy sister worked in a nursing home about 40 years ago and remembers an elderly woman telling her that she felt just the same inside then as she had when she was a very young woman... and my sister thought "isn't that sweet"... now my sister and I are in our 60s and we know exactly what that "old" woman was talking about... you're going to feel the same inside always...
you are an inspiration to THIS woman who is old enough to be your mother! Thanks you for sharing so much with us.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANNA MARIA!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!! When you said that the 31st was the end of the month, I had to stop and think about that. I didn't even realize we had reached that point!
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteI just realized; just now, that I have a son your age! Oh my!
I was discussing age witha customer today. She gave me a great idea. When we are our ages, we can do as we please when it comes to our birthdays and ages. She suggested that we live the first number off the age and just celebrate the second number. This year, therefore I turned six! Isn't that grand???
Happy Birthday kiddo! I think my brother would be 37 this year, but he left the planet about 12.5 years ago...So it is kinda nice for me to know you are his age! hope it was a happy one...(46 is my next one, and my lovely wife just turned 50...so everything you told Allie...all back at you...it's the same up here as it is where you are...Happy, happy, happy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!May this be a year of marbles and marvels!! Don't worry about the numbers- the point is you are making an artwork of your life, at any age I am sure!
ReplyDeleteAnnamaria
Happy Birthday. We found marbles under our sofa!!!! May you have a marbleous day.
ReplyDeleteHappy B-Day Anna and may you have a wonderful Weekend.
ReplyDeleteHappy Happy Birthday! 37 is so very young!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Today is also my twin boys' two year birthday! A good day for birthdays, no? :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to a fellow Leo! Mine is Aug 1 - and I'll be 51. Happiness is belly crawling through the woods, playing army man with my 9 year old. Age is only a frame of mind! XOXO Miriam
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday (number be damned!)!
ReplyDeleteMy little girl turned three today -- my goodness there are a lot of you end-of-July babies.
Eloquent post, says the fellow 37 year old. I understand you completely. How am I supposed to feel about 37? I know ( and am reminded by looking at your beautiful family in your blog banner) that I started having a family too late. I just always felt too young to have children. And now, my son is almost two and I feel almost too old to have another. Time/age is a tricky beast. I say screw it (pardon), go find your own marbles and have a lovely birthday and a glorious life.
ReplyDeleteAnna Maria - I am new to your blog and have to admit that I am in love with it. I am having so much fun reading through all the old posts. Like you I have six beautiful children ranging in age from 17 1/2 to 7 1/2 - 3 boys and 3 girls - life is sometimes a parade around here but more often it is a circus. I struggle to find time to be creative, earn a living, clothe and feed six children, love my husband, keep house, blog, facebook and everything else - but somehow i do - often the hardest lesson to learn is to how let things go. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that you brighten my day when I get to sit down and read about your creative and familial adventures. Thank you. Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
ReplyDeletePriscilla (Armidale, Australia)
Happy BD. I'm with you on the age thing. I'm in my late 30's too and on a given day I honestly can't remember if I'm 36 or 37 or 38, unless I do the math. I just can't keep track anymore. The other day I found a handful of jacks (ouch!) under my daughter's pillow (stolen from a sister and hidden away, no doubt!)
ReplyDeletehappy beautiful birthday...age is just a number i say more and more the older i get. even with all of life happening around me i still feel 18 sometimes...in a good way.
ReplyDeletemay you find marbles under your pillow
Happy birthday! Hope you has a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteOff to get some marbles now...
July 31, 2009, Happy Birthday. My daddy is 93 today. He had a crown on for his birthday party. Take alook at my blog and celebrate together. Blessings, Jan
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday!!
ReplyDeleteA little belated - Happy Birthday! Here wishing you many more marbles under your pillow!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, many great people were born today, my dad, his younger brother (7 years) Sharon Schamber, my friend Trudie and you as well..... i will not forget now, hope you had a wonderful day, but who wouldn't with such a pretty family....
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! I hope you have/had a great birthday day with pretty presents and lots of family time. (which are both the best part of ones birthday ;) )
ReplyDeleteAh yes... Happy Birthday Anna Maria!! Marbles are cool. I have a little collection of marbles from my youth... I kept the best and most colourful, shiny etc together and still have them. Even one that is like a tiny world...(globe) so cool.. must get them out again!
ReplyDeleteHappy, Happy, Happy Birthday
ReplyDeletefor you...
http://theredheadriter.blogspot.com/2009/08/secrets-friends-and-sharing.html
Wow...I'm impressed with the age thing here. First, that you're only 37 and you've accomplished all that you have. Second, your daughter is 23? Not to get personal, but you are a total success story if you can be where you are today after a young pregnancy. Perhaps there's more to it, though.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
That is a great wish, Anna-Maria!Happy Birthday to yuo!Xronia Polla kai kala! You are a treasure and a blessing to me.
ReplyDeletebuon compleanno!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to you!
ReplyDeleteHappy 37th Birthday!! May this be a Happy and wonderful year for you:)
ReplyDeleteHappy (now belated, I guess) birthday! Hey, you're only a few months older than me -- I will now officially refer to you as my "peer"!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Wishing you marbles under the pillow, and sticks and rocks on your dresser, a tricycle to give bugs and worms a ride on the back of and the same amount of cheer when you hit forty :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! And here's to marbles under your pillow! At 44, I still feel in my 20's (most days) and I know it's because of my kids~the five of them keep me young! Enjoy cake, kiddo hugs and hubby love!
ReplyDeleteHope your birthday was fantastic!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday and the next 37 years with so much hapiness, joy and creatvity like those first one!:)
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best!
ReplyDeleteMarbles under the pillow sounds wonderful.
Happy, happy, day to you! I hope you enjoy your birthday and all the wonderful things that 37 brings (hey - that kind of rhymed :) ). I love how you find the youthfulness in everyday living and I'm sure your children love you for it.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to you. Wishing you marbles of youth and playtime!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!! It only continues to get better - "trust me"! Perhaps the marbles were a surprise for you? Go play and embrace your 37 wonderful years. Oh and get yourself some marbles. Perhaps play Princess and the Pea?
ReplyDeleteCheers.
(Not sure if you'll have enough time to read allllllll these comments, but, just in case...)

Bye!
Happy Birthday to YOU! I'm so glad you were born!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Annamaria. Just you wait until 40 and then it will seem like age matters. I never thought I'd care but when I turned 40 I got worried. It probably had something to do with not having all the kids we wanted yet. Maybe that won't be your worry :) You have a beautiful family - you are blessed.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! My Grandmother had the same birthday - so this gave me a little joyful reminder of her too! You have to be one of the coolest moms ever! Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteHi Anna,
ReplyDeleteMy daughter turned 15 on the 31st and I am the reverse at 51.
I was your age when I had Natalie my one and only, it was great in my late 30's that I could see life again through the eyes of a child. Now I see life through the eyes of a teenager, a little scarier but still enlightening.
Love your blog and fabric, I am teaching Natalie to sew this summer, if she can squeeze me in her summer schedule.
Happy belated birthday Anna! 37 does seem like a strange age but I hear 40 is golden :)
ReplyDeleteam I jealous to read that you are ONLY 37? that you accomplished SO SO SO much? I was 50 recently and I couldn't believe it. I remember so well how it felt to be in the late thirties. but 50???? sound like a nightmare. you will understand whar I mean someday. but - you are as old as you feel inside and with all your many ideas I wouldn't worry. so I wish you many happy returns and some nice marbles under your pillows! eliane from ireland
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy, birthday!!! So we are both 1972ers ;-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday AM!!! I hope you are showered by attention and love!
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Birthday Anna. Hope you had a special day shared with precious family and friends.

Oh my goodness...today is my 37th birthday:-) I hope yours was wonderful...your family is so beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the inspiration you give us. I had a feeling you were a fellow Leo...and a 72 Leo to boot :-)
Cheers!
~Michelle
Well, Happy Birthday Anna Maria!! I, too, will be 37--at the end of August so I know the whole feeling you have got going on there. I contribute it to not knowing which way is coming and which way is going. I also have to blame that part on my kids (and a wee bit on my hubby ). I always have to think about my age--do the math, you know. Thankfully the kids are there to help me out with that one and remind me exactly how "ancient" I am. Here's to being "ancient"!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Anna....... I too am 37 this year, and have 4 children ranging from 6 to 17. I think you have achieved slightly more than me though, you clever thing!!
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy Birthday!!!Wish you all the best!!
ReplyDeletexo, Katarina
Aw, aren't you cute ?!~Happy Birthday:)
ReplyDeleteOH Anna. You make me smile. Happy Birthday and thank you for sharing bits and pieces of you with all of us!
ReplyDeleteand I totally get you on the "how am I supposed to feel" at this age thing. Right there with ya sista! :)
Happy Birthday! I hope you had a fabulous day.

My little girl turned 8 on the 31st. We spent her birthday in Disneyland.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday a few days late.
a happy belated birthday, to you. i find that the older i get, the more i forget about the number. i'm 32 now & just don't care much about what that number means.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday! I'm sure it was magical with your family!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a belated happy birthday. It must be a good day as you have the same birthday as my dear, darling, awesome husband. xx to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to wish you a very belated very happy birthday. And those marbles, I really understand why someone would keep marbles under their pillow. I kept very important secrets under my pillow when I was little too. I wonder why I stopped doing that..
ReplyDeleteHope you had a lovely day with your family and loved ones!
I am SO glad I stopped by your blog today and read this... such wonderful words about birthdays -- I might have to transcribe it in my husband's birthday card in a few weeks -- he's turning 30 and can't wrap his mind around it (whereas I turned 30 a few months ago and feel blessed that life just seems to keep getting sweeter!)
ReplyDeleteso thank you for sharing AND... Happy [belated] birthday!
Happy Belated Birthday Anna Marie! We share the day although I have a few more years than you. :-) May your scissors cut precisely, your needles stitch finely, and your sewing time be filled with joy this coming year!
ReplyDeleteMeg
In this picture you remind me of a Mme Alexander doll I had when I was a child. Here is one like it:

In Australia, the word "Ugg" means "Boot". ugg clearance Ever since the '60's, Ugg boots have been in use by Australian surfers for warmth after getting out of cold water. When Ugg Boots migrated to California (along with the surfers), nice and cheap ugg boots the surfing community there also embraced the thermostatic boots (they keep you warm when it's cold, nice and cheap ugg boots while whisking away any moisture when it's hot).
