If it weren't for nursing every few hours I'm not sure I'd ever get to hold sweet Roman. Though no one seems to be around between midnight and 8 am. Which is just fine with me. Just fine with both of us.

Promising more pictures and words soon. I just assumed you kind and generous souls would expect a lull here. I so appreciate every comment and email (and gift!) that has been sent this way. We are soaking up every piece of this time and we all thank you!

with so much love, Anna & family

Congratulations mama! What a gorgeous little guy, and so lucky too. These pictures are all really beautiful and touching, but the one with Isabela really takes my breath away. His little head cupped in her hand! Kills me.

I'm a somewhat recent reader and last night finally had the chance to listen to your craftsanity interview, which was SO inspiring. Take all the time you need with your newly-shaped family - we'll all be here when you return. :)

  18. Congratulations! I have to tell you in my first official comment that the picture of Isabella holding Roman instantly brought tears to my eyes. We are expecting our third and hope my oldest (although he'll only be 3 1/2) will share her willingness to be both protector and comforter, traits that come across strongly in the shot. Blessings to you and your growing family!
