Pouring here. All day. And more to come. Though it looks like one of those skies now, where a rainbow could suddenly appear. But just in case it doesn't. Here ya go.
It's been crazy, right? Goodness, some of the thunder in Nashville last night woke me up (and I'm a heavy sleeper). No rainbow from here right now, thoughh I'm starting to see some blue sky. The rainbow of fabrics is just the thing!
Yup, it's been raining here too. Bella informed me the other day that she believes that all of your five sleep in the same room (like her and Lily do) and that it has a very big bed in it!! I said that I thought you probably had more than one bedroom for the kids, but she didn't agree. She also told me that she wants me to make her a dress, a pair of tights and a pair of shoes out of Social Climber! Hope you're all well and I must order some of that gorgeous polka dot on the top of the pile! Manda xx
Ahhhh beautiful. Being in the Pacific NW rain is constant especially this year. I have a full stack of fabric right now within site of my laptop, but I think I will down load this photo and save it to the desktop. That way, it's just right there where ever the laptop is.... always. Thanks.
Thanks for the rainbow! Your cloudy skies are my cloudy skies! Although I have been surprised that we haven't had more rain this week considering the forcast!!
I just hope it doesn't rain this weekend (as predicted)! I was looking forward to the Craft Fair at Centennial Park!! Oh well.
My daughter and I saw the most amazing double rainbow just a few weeks ago here in Tennessee. I think it could have very well been the most brilliant rainbow I have ever seen in my entire life. People were pulling over on the side of the road to look at it. I managed to get some shots with my mobile phone, but I sure do wish that I had my good camera with me.
It was a wonderful shared moment with my daughter as we slowed down our busy schedule for a moment to enjoy the magic, beauty, and the gift that the rainbow gave us.
I have asked for a studio stack of your fabric for Mother's Day. I love what you do. You are an inspiration for me as a mother of three, that yes I can be both a mother and an artist.
Yesterday was 72 and I soaked it up cuz today and the rest of the week is rain, rain, rain. Pacific NW here. I just want you to know that my absolute favorite fabric to date is one of yours and I am sorry I do not know the name of it. But, you have one of your chairs covered in it on your March 25th post, "My favorite word, Begining." I LOVE this fabric its the perfect mix of color and design. I have used it in so many things already, I need to go get some more :)
We had a rainbow last week! I got all the kids outside to take pics of it and them! I love your version of a rainbow! I just bought 5 yards of Good Folks and a Feliz and Vida pattern! I am so excited to try to make something with it! Wish me luck!!!
here in in bend OR it has been a rain-e day too. Just the kind of day to grab some sticks some string with a quilt over your lap. can't forget the hot cup of tea. Baking and sewing are also things that make my heart smile with weather like this. Not hard to do with such pretty fabric from miss anna maria-here's to cozy spring weekends
yep, it was raining here & I was daydreaming of spring colors and future craft projects (though I have about 15 waiting their turn already!) Gorgeous stack....I've got the rainbow stack on my list of goodies to scoop up soon :-)
Been raining for last 2days, broke today but tomorrow in afternoon it should be back. At least with all this rain I can easily pull weeds and get some flower beds dug.
I just spend the last several hours reading your blog---all the way back to the beginning. You have inspired me to get out my sewing machine. I used to really be good. If I get my hands on some of your delicious fabric, maybe I can be again. Thanks for a stimulating visual treat. Loved all of your pics and stories, too!
Question on your ripple: Are you using a particular pattern? How about the yarn? What weight/brand if you can say? I'm looking to make a baby blanket and want something soft. Newbie to crohet!!
Seeing a rainbow in drought city..a.k.a Arizona is a rare beauty indeed. Thanks for sharing this rainbow! It just might tide me over till monsoon season.
so many rainy cold days; everything has popped but no sun to enjoy the lushness. i am ready to shed the polar fleece, socks and jeans. bring on summer!
We decided to use the rain in our favor and broke in new rain boots! I bought my 2 year old some pink rubber boots and she LOVES to stomp through puddles in them. In fact, I just put pictures of her up on my blog!
Thank you for the rainbow! We here in Melbourne tend to forget what rain looks and feels like. This evening when the weatherman on the news predicted scattered showers for tomorrow, the news anchor cynically replied, "Hmmmm ... I'll believe it when I see it!". We live in hope :-P
So please enjoy the rain, and have fun with those beautiful rainbow colours!
you rock!
ReplyDeletethose colors!! they make me happy just to look at them! :) and yes, it was just raining here, but the sun is finally shining!! have a great weekend!
