  2. I love that your tree is so warm, homemade, and traditional. So often we get sucked into the "designer tree" syndrome and while they are beautiful, there is something so much more "home" about yours. Thanks for sharing!

  5. Oh what a beautiful tree. And that must be Santa ... just must ... what a treat that is for the kids! We have the same nativity set ... only our baby Jesus is no longer with us. I have no idea where he went, but I'm sure he's having fun.

  6. We have the same exact chreche/nativity set!!!!! Where did you get yours? My husband's sister passed it on to us because her children are older now. Now my boys get to enjoy it and set it up! I love that it's wooden and handmade.

I also love your tree. I like all the variety of ornaments. Looks like you collected so many different kinds over the years. We have the same thing.

  15. Getting it straight from the top of the car to be all decorated and set up like that MUST have been a magic wave of the wand...*L*

I'm sure we missed some intermediate steps.

  17. Anna Maria, what a lovely tree. The way a tree should look, at least I think so! LOL. Also, loved your daughters jacket. I just bought a bunch of your fabric and your pictures inspire me. I will start with a patchwork bag for me!

  31. Love your nativity set. I am looking for the perfect nativity for my family and yours is sweet! We are using one my 10 year old made last year. Lots of cardboard, fabric, hot glue and plastic animals. It has a certain naieve charm to it, like yours!

  32. Your tree is so lovely twinkling so magically in the dark. When I was young that was at the top of my favorite things about Christmas. My Grandma's tree was always so twinkly and ethereal looking when we turned out the lights. Hope you are feeling better.
