Jeff and Anna live from 33rd St

So. We're here. We just put the finishing touches on the new website via tiny tables and 3$ per hour internet hookup. It's already to go folks, so go have a look and let me know how it works out for you. I'm finding it looks best on Firefox, and does a few weird text layout things on Explorer. So be it. Oh and theres a mailing list feature too on the "news" page, and hopefully you'll receive a cute little email from me if you sign up on it. Let me now how that goes.
Whew.
Whew.
and.
Whew.
Already went into the MSLO offices this morning for final touches on the project and now to find some lunch and take a nap! I have to be at the studio in the morning at 7:45 am to get prettified (which good take a while) for live TV.
Hope you like the new site, and that it'll take the place of no pictures today.
Thanks for all the good thoughts, hoorahs and prayers, totally feeling it and really calm today.
And now for my next act......

Just found your blog and want to wish you the best of luck tomorrow on Martha. As an alumnus of the show (I'm Martha's Glitter Lady) I know you'll have a blast and the whole thing will be a blurrrrrrr! It really will be over before you know it. I'm guessing either Lenore or Karen is your producer so if you see this comment before the show, please give them my love. Martha's staff is amazing...

  73. Hi Anna Maria-I'm a fellow fine arts (well graphic design) alum from UT and used to shop in your cute store near the strip all the time! You can imagine how excited I was to see you on the Martha show this morning! I was like, "Hey! I think I know that girl!" I was a few years behind you, but I always loved your shop, and you and your mother were always so sweet. Anyway, you did such a great job on the show! And now I have discovered your site I will check it often, your work is beautiful. BTW I am impressed at how you juggle motherhood and your career..(I am 4 days overdue with my first child!!) Thanks for making all of us artsies from the big orange proud!

  77. Anna Maria,
You were so cute on the show today! I was watching while in the dentist's chair (I think the TV's are for kids but I made them turn on Martha) with all sorts of sharp things in my mouth and I kept giggling.
I have 5 kids and I don't make my bed either (and I don't think Martha makes her own bed, she has "people"). What fun!

    ReplyDelete
  78. You were great on the show! I don't usually watch TV during the day (toddler at home...who has time?), but I made sure to watch today. Great job! And what a fun project; I'm going to have to try my hand at it. Congrats! - Holly

  79. hi anna maria! just watched you a few minutes ago, loved your segment!!! i am horrifically jealous of the audience and their gift packages of fabric... loved your yellow sweater, too, AND... did you notice how Martha didn't respond to your question about making the bed? ;) she probably hasn't made her own bed in over twenty years. i rarely make my bed and i have no children to use as an excuse! way to go and all the best!

  80. Anna Maria, I just got done watching your segmant on Martha. You did awesome! I noticed the quilt in the display behind you guys. Is that the one I quilted for you? If so, give Martha my number and tell her I'll quilt one for her too. (Right, just like Martha has time to sew a quilt...just like she has time to make her bed!) Great job!
